The community of Pacific American School believes that every student has the right to an advanced education in order to survive and thrive in the knowledge-based economies of the 21st century. Seniors will be prepared to compete for entrance to American / European colleges and universities and/or to function in English speaking environments.

We believe that preparation for a top-notch education should begin in elementary school and be well developed in middle school. All students in high school should have access to advanced placement programs.

We further affirm that a rigorous curriculum and meaningful extracurricular activities will

develop and hone students’ critical thinking skills that they, in turn, can use in out-of-classroom

activities, including sports. The incorporation of rapidly evolving advances in technology, highly

encouraged in student research, projects, and presentations is also an essential requisite to guarantee students’ success in college/university as well as beyond.

Finally, we assert that all Pacific American School students should do the following:

possess qualities of resilience and perseverance; nurture their passions and develop their thinking through self-discovery and lifelong learning; play vital roles in collaborative environments; serve their communities; and develop a sense of responsible leadership and global responsibility.
