Congratulations to Hailey Hsieh, our 10th grader, on winning the gold medal, and Annabel Petkovich, our 7th grader, on winning the Bronze award, in The World Mathematics Invitational.
The World Mathematics Invitational is an international math competition that includes representatives from over 20 countries. Representatives are first selected in their countries through the WMI preliminary round, and top students are invited to represent their country in the WMI world finals. The competition is designed to inspire students to think critically through a series of challenging mathematical problems. The WMI allows students to experience different cultures and meet math lovers from a diverse background. Each year, the event is held in different countries, this year held in Malaysia.
We are very proud of their achievements, representing Taiwan and winning these honors in the world’s final competition.
