The Elementary School at Pacific American School (PAS) serves as the foundation for our students’ academic, social, and emotional development. We provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners from Grades 1 through 5 begin their journey toward becoming critical thinkers, effective communicators, and compassionate individuals.
PAS Elementary focuses on a balanced curriculum that integrates core subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies with enrichment programs, including Art, Music, Physical Education, and World Languages. Our approach emphasizes inquiry-based learning, where students develop curiosity and confidence by exploring concepts and asking questions.
As part of our commitment to fostering innovation, PAS Elementary integrates technology and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education from an early age. Students participate in the STEAM program twice a week, where they engage in hands-on projects that encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. They are introduced to foundational technology skills and begin exploring design thinking to prepare them for a technology-driven world.
We recognize that every child is unique, and our differentiated instruction caters to diverse learning styles and abilities. English as a Second Language (ESL) support is available for students who are developing their English proficiency, ensuring all learners have the tools they need to succeed.
PAS Elementary emphasizes the development of character and leadership skills. Students participate in activities that promote empathy, teamwork, and responsibility.
