The Ecosystem program offers a unique opportunity for students to learn about plant biology, sustainable practices, and the interrelationships within ecosystems. Learning Objectives
Participants in the Ecosystem program will:
Conduct experiments and observations in our greenhouses to learn about plant growth, nutrition, and environmental factors.
Participate in the maintenance and development of our eco garden, fostering skills in gardening, composting, and permaculture.
Explore topics such as the importance of pollinators, soil health, and water conservation.
Collaborate on projects that enhance our campus environment and promote ecological awareness.
Our program emphasizes the importance of community involvement and environmental education. Students will have opportunities to share their knowledge and projects with peers and local community members, inspiring others to appreciate and protect our natural world.
