The Visual Arts Department is one of the most versatile programs at PAS, stemming from a central vision of teaching the arts as not only a creative outlet, but also a method of innovative communication with great potential. Through education that emphasizes the process of art production, presentation, and critiques, we offer a playground for students to thoughtfully explore and develop their experience in art from both conceptual and practical perspectives. 

Building on the fundamentals of design principles and art history, our students are taught in multiple disciplines, notably including Studio Art, Adobe, Animation, 3D, Photography, Filmmaking, Brand Image, and Communication Design. Additionally, the students of the Visual Arts Department collaborate each year with the music program in the Annual Musical Performance – one of our school’s biggest projects in which students are tasked to combine what they have learned into a complete musical production, featuring costuming and stage set design.
