With Chat GTP’s joining this world as a big technology breakthrough in late 2022, it has come to the era of AI and smart technology’s applications.
The mission of Vex Signature Events is to provide more opportunities for teams that may or may not typically attend Event Region Championships or the World Championship to experience an event of that level. Signature Events that meet the necessary requirements can qualify teams directly to the VEX Robotics World Championships.
It is an honor for PAS to be the host of 2023-2024 Vex Signature event in Asia and it is also our honor to be able to invite Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp ( TSMC) and Taiwan Space Agency( TASA) to be visited by the participants of 2023 Vex Robotics Signature Event, hosted by Pacific American School in December, as our corporate sponsors. We hope to promote Taiwan’s high tech among the global participating teams through the tour to the two companies while allowing the young domestic and international stem students to have the opportunity to witness and access the high tech development in Taiwan.
PAS has invited some high tech companies, such as MediaTek, Acer Gadget, Adata Technology, Silicon Motion, and Skytech, as part of our corporate sponsors to support the robotics involvement and participation by the next generation through the Vex Signature Event in December. We are going to work with more corporates to support this event.
The Vex Signature Event registration will start 12pm on August 26th, ET in US, which is 12am on August 27th, Taipei time. We welcome all the interested teams to join this competition and are looking forward to providing a successful Vex Signature Event for all the participating teams.

The TSMC Museum of Innovation is located next to TSMC’s global headquarters and Fab 12A (Morris Chang Building) in the Hsinchu Science Park. Its floor area is approximately 660 square meters.
The TSMC Museum of Innovation encompasses three exhibition galleries: “A World of Innovation”, “Unleashing Innovation”, and “Dr. Morris Chang, TSMC Founder”. Through interactive technology, digital content, and historical documents we will learn about the pervasiveness of ICs in our daily lives and about their continued advancement. In addition, we will learn how ICs are making our lives more fulfilling and how they are driving technology beyond our imagination. We will also learn how TSMC contributes to global IC innovation and to Taiwan’s economy.

Taiwan Space Agency (short as TASA), formerly the National Space Organization (NSPO), is the national civilian space agency of the Republic of China (Taiwan), under the auspices of the National Science and Technology Council. TASA is involved in the development of space technologies and related research.
TASA was founded in order to develop and conduct researches on aerospace and natural science in Taiwan. Its mission is to be a center of innovation and excellence for space technology and to develop space programs that applies Taiwan’s strength and global competitiveness.

Students should consult with their team mentor or coach. All attendees must wear closed-toe and heel shoes during the event. Attendees are reminded to dress comfortably and appropriately and to avoid loose hanging clothes or hair if they are going to work with robots or tools in the team pit area. If any questionable items are worn to this event, please be advised that the event staff may ask the attendee to remove or alter their attire.

Yes! The VEX Robotics Signature Event is free and open to the public. This lively and engaging event is suitable for the entire family.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will only be made if the event is canceled by Brentwood Academy. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come.
All volunteers, drivers, and coaches must wear eye protection while in the competition field areas or around the practice fields for VRC and VEX U. While we always recommend the use of safety glasses, they are not required for VEX IQ Challenge participants. Teams demonstrating robots to Judges or guests must also wear eye protection. Eye protection in the pits will be left up to the discretion of individual team coaches, but we strongly recommend that eye protection be worn by anyone demonstrating or working on a robot, cutting materials, or near a working robot. When in doubt, wear your safety glasses.
