Parent-teacher conferences are important opportunities to extend lines of communication between parents and school, keeping parents informed of their children’s academic concerns and progress.
We schedule parent-teacher conferences three times during the school year after each quarter. Parents will be scheduled as a group to meet the subject teachers for 30 minutes in each class to get the update of the student learning.
During the conference, each teacher will share information on curriculum, course pacing and any topic of concerns. Parents have chances to ask questions, share concerns, and look for teachers’ advice. Individual appointment with teachers can also be arranged.
Productive and successful parent teacher conferences will help boost the mutual understanding of student learning between parents and the school, giving parents and teachers a chance to work together and to further support student success in learning.
