A Walk to Remember, Prom of 2009

As the weather gets warm, the footsteps of the goddess of spring are approaching. The Spring Goddess celebrates the turning of the wheel of the year as the death and decay of winter gives way to a time of renewal and rebirth. However, our graduating class scented the air of the autumn leaves, about to be grown-ups and leave the mother, Pacific American School.

Prom of 2009, A Walk to Remember, was memorable and delightful. Almost all of the students in high school attended this joyful night. The Student Council members had started to plan out this prom for a while, and put much effort into decorating and preparing for it.

The MCs, Antony Chu and Jolio Chang, were just like the professionals, introducing staffs and seniors along with jokes that were nostalgic. Alex Hsu, Brent Lee and Antony Chu performed their talents in singing and DJ. Everyone enjoyed their meals with their memories being recalled by the slideshow made by Erica Jang.

Board Member Luke Lu and his wife, our principal, Dr. Still, and her husband, and the Student Council president along with his prom date gave rise to the dance. It’s not only a walk to remember, but also a night, a prom never to forget.
