G12 & G8 Graduation Trip
December 30th, 2008

This year, the graduating students of grade 8 and 12 went to Club Med Cherating Beach in Malaysia for a scorching and packed five days.
Arriving at the resort after a four-hour long bus ride, the students started their adventure at Club Med with a late dinner at night. The meal was delicious and throughout the next few days, remained scrumptious and plentiful. With so much food and energy in their bodies, the students worked the calories off everyday by playing sports like basketball, tennis, and badminton and trying out new activities such as sailing, kayaking and trapeze. When the students were in the mood for peace and quiet, they would simply scatter by the poolside, beach or bar sofas and simply bask in the sunlight or in the amazing voice of the lounge singer.

Every night, a show was offered and the PAS-ers never failed to attend them. Not only did the shows make the students howl with laughter, but it was also a great way to relax after dinner, only to be interrupted by the daily dances that take place at around ten and last until midnight.

What was most exciting about Club Med? Everything! However on one occasion, the wild monkeys living on the resort came and knocked on students room door for bananas. They even tried to push the door open when the girls opened the door a little! These monkeys soon attracted a lot of attention as everyone soon came to look at them and take photos. Can you believe that the monkeys sneaked into Pamela’s room, stealing her medicine and tried to take them? After the awful taste, they finally gave up and scattered the medicines all over the floor while finishing all the yummy honey-flavored “cold drops.” What a great experience the students had from this memorable graduation trip!
