Boo! Happy Halloween!

Boo! Happy Halloween! This year’s Halloween festivity was held on October 31, 2008 right in our PAS floor. Students came to school with their costumes on that day. The cameras never stopped clicking and flashing for the entire day. Most of the students could not concentrate much on their morning classes as they were expecting for the afternoon event.
Trick-or-treating was held in the morning as students take turns going around exchanging candies in their pumpkins. Right after the quick lunch, the students freshened up to get ready for their costume competition. Acting as the MCs, Mr. Vassilakis and Mr. Covault made the audience enjoy the competition more with their sense of humor. It was difficult for the judges to decide who could win the free movie tickets for each winning categories.
Elementary students also enjoyed an hour of art by carving peppers and face painting with the help of secondary assistants. They finished the whole event with the last hour of fear factor boxes and a dance held by the student council. The little kids enjoyed the scary touchy-feely boxes as the secondary students rocked themselves with the music. The event ended in a success as students all go home with smiles on their face.
