Pacific American School, an American international school in Hsinchu, Taiwan, was established to meet the educational needs of international students, enabling them to compete and thrive in the knowledge-based economies of the 21st Century.

Pacific American School is a co-educational and college preparatory American school licensed by Taiwan Ministry of Education and by Hsinchu Education Bureau. It is registered with the American Institute in Taiwan and is in the process of accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Nestled in the neighborhood surrounded by Hsinchu Science Park with the most leading technologies in Taiwan, two prestigious universities (National Tsing Hua University and National Chiao Tung University National Chiao Tung Univeristy), and the nation’s most advanced research center (Industrial Technology Research Institute), the school is situated in a campus with brand new and state-of-the-art facilities for student achievement and is close to the institutes of Taiwan’s future.
All classrooms are loaded with projector screens and wireless internet access. The spacious indoor gym offers a safe environment for a diversity of indoor activities and celebrations. The in-campus indoor swimming pool offers PAS students year-round swimming practices and training. The park across the street and the campus of National Tsing Hua Univeristy next door provide an environment for students’ artistic creativity.
With our outstanding faculty and programs, Pacific American School offers students the opportunity for SAT and Advanced Placement with an AP preparatory program from the 6th Grade. The school curriculum is based on accredited state curriculum standards from the USA, designed for university-bound students in the United States.
